My sister is getting married this year (July 2023) and my mum needed a dress to match the colour scheme. She chose a dusty rose pink satin with a beautiful matching beaded lace embroidery from a fabric shop in Indonesia when she was on holiday. I based the pattern on a blouse she like the fit of. The skirt is basically rectangles with gores sewn into the sides and back to give it a flattering a-line shape from the hips down.

This dress was made over 2 weeks in January, taking 20 hours in total to complete.
